Firearm & NFA Transfers Gun Store Policies

• Firearm & NFA Transfer Fee: $50 per item

• Private Party Transfer Fee: $35 per firearm

• Outgoing FFL-to-FFL Transfers: Actual shipping costs plus a $25 transfer fee.

• NFA Processing Fee: $25 per NFA item (in addition to any applicable transfer fees).

FFL to FFL Transfers
Any FFL can request a copy of our FFL by contacting desertmetalcoating@gmail.com with the customer order number, name and item ordered. 

Transfer Pickup Policy

• All transferred firearms and NFA items must be picked up within 30 days of arrival.

• Beginning on the 31st day, a $5 storage fee per week will be assessed.

• Transfers remaining in our possession for 90 days will be considered abandoned property and, where permitted by law, ownership may be forfeited to DMC Outfitters.

Sales & Returns
All Sales Are Final
The following items are non-returnable:

• Firearms

• Ammunition

• Suppressors

 
We reserve the right to purchase firearms back from customers on a case-by-case basis at the current used firearm market value.

Used Firearm Definition
For the purpose of purchasing or valuing firearms, any firearm that has been transferred from DMC Outfitters to a customer, or that has previously been owned by another individual, is considered a used firearm regardless of its condition, round count, or whether it has been fired. All used firearm values are determined solely at the discretion of DMC Outfitters.
 
Restocking Fees
20% Restocking Fee

• Cancelled orders.

• Denied NICS background checks that are not successfully appealed or overturned.

10% Restocking Fee

• Eligible merchandise returned within 14 days of purchase.

• Items must be unopened (where applicable), in original packaging, and in resalable condition.

 
Buying & Consignments

• We do not accept firearms on consignment.

• We buy used firearms on a case-by-case basis for cash or store credit.

• We do not purchase ammunition, but we can assist with proper disposal if needed.

 
Firearm Compliance Policy

• DMC Outfitters does not accept, transfer, purchase, service, or store privately manufactured firearms ("ghost guns") or any firearm lacking a legally compliant serial number.

• Any firearm suspected of having an altered, obliterated, removed, or otherwise unlawful serial number will be refused.

• DMC Outfitters reserves the right to notify the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and/or local law enforcement when we believe a firearm or attempted transaction may violate applicable federal or state law.

By purchasing, transferring, or conducting business with DMC Outfitters, customers acknowledge and agree to these policies.
